Hair and Makeup design for 15 dancers for their production that was staged in cities all over Japan
. I sourced all the material and taught them how to do their own makeup and hair through in person sessions as well as video tutorials

The actors had to be aged about 40 years to show that they were on their death bed. In act 1 they are old, however they have a minute to become young again as there is no interval, only a blackout.
I used water based makeup to make the wrinkles so that if they wiped it off with a damp cotton pad, the foundation underneath wouldn't be disturbed and they would look young but still have make-up on.
The lines for ageing are very exaggerated as it was for theatre. The stage is far from the audience and the make-up needs to be seen from the back of the auditorium as well and not be washed out by the harsh lights.
